At St. Mary’s School, we like to recognize our students for going above and beyond in their everyday activities. We believe that praising a child for outstanding behaviors, promotes a future of continued success and sense of accomplishment. We give recognition for all ages and grades. It is given for the smallest of acts of kindness, to being elected in the Leadership Academy. We have weekly “Students of the Week” that can be found in our Parent’s Weekly Bulletin. Their names are listed, as well as their reasoning for receiving the award of “Student of The Week.”
We encourage all of our students to excel in everything that they do. We want them to feel pride, and we want them all to know just how great of an impact they make in the world. We truly have super star students at St. Mary’s!! If you happen to witness an act of kindness or something that deserves recognition, please make sure to let our office know so our students can be recognized.
The Leadership Academy is St. Mary’s name for our student council. Not only do these students act as student council, but they have shown great leadership roles as well as being more involved in Service Projects. Elections are held at the beginning of the school year, with all 7th and 8th grade students eligible. These students are responsible for being role models to other students, as well as being perfect representatives of a St. Mary’s student. Congratulations to the following students for being chosen by your peers to represent St. Mary’s for the 2016-17 school year!!
